Asda Expands Vegan Range

Vegans Rave About New Plant-Based Burgers and Sausages

Asda, the British food retailer unit of Walmart, has seriously upped its vegan game – much to our delight!

Asda’s innovation chef Andrew Johnston shared the news on social media:

“We’re committed to catering for the growing number of Asda customers following a vegan diet. We wanted to introduce more delicious and innovative vegan-friendly foods so that everyone can enjoy tasty meal options.”

The company’s vegan range has been accredited by The Vegan Society and features plant-based burgers and sausages that cook straight from the freezer.

There are three burger flavours to try – Butternut Squash, Sweet Potato & Red PepperEdamame, Asparagus & Mint and Beetroot & Spinach. They’ve also added delicious Butternut Squash, Sweet Potato & Red Pepper SausagesMushroom & Kale Sausages, Spicy Bean Burgers and Sweet Potato Falafels to the range.

And there are many more vegan delights in store, too!
