Hotdogs are an international favourite, and you certainly don't have to miss out when you're vegan!
Warm a heavy based pan, warm 1 tsp sesame oil, add the garlic and onion and a pinch of sea salt.
Cook for 4 to 5 minutes until the onion slightly browns, add a splash or two of teriyaki sauce and cook for another minute.
Place the tofu sausages under a pre heated grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes each side.
Spread some vegan mayonnaise on your roll or bread, add a layer of salad greens, and some avocado slices. Pop on your tofu sausages and top with the garlic/onion mix, sauerkraut, tomato chutney or whatever your heart desires.
