Give the Gift of Compassion this Christmas

Hi there!Nadine

My name’s Nadine and I’d like to take a moment from my cooling mud bath to talk to you about something very close to my heart – Compassion.

Since coming to Catskill Animal Sanctuary I am free to live out the rest of my days surrounded by love and lots of tasty treats! But it wasn’t always this way for me and I am forever grateful for the kind souls who saved my life way back when.

This Christmas, a time of sharing and spreading the love that we have to offer, I’d like to kindly ask that you help others who truly need it by sending the gift of compassion their way.

There are so many ways to spread the festive love! Here are some of my ideas:

  • Donate your money to a sanctuary or organisation who work to make this world a better place for animals just like me. There are lots of folk out there working day in and day out to help make things better.
  • Buy your Christmas cards from an animal friendly charity, such as Dr Hadwen’s Trust; or even from a sanctuary – there’s some nice ones over at C-A-L-F Sanctuary.
  • Volunteer your time at an animal sanctuary over the festive season – it’s even tougher than usual on sanctuaries during the winter months.
  • Bake lots of yummy festive-themed vegan treats to sell in your local community and raise funds for a cause close to your heart. Just make sure to save some of the food for me please!

To you, it may only seem like a little, but it means a lot to those who receive it. Trust me.

I know what I’ll be doing. How about you? Come join me in spreading a little more compassion this festive season!

A huge oinking thank you from me and the many other animals out there who need your help.
