Examples of corporate commitments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sodexo<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>committed to making 33% of their menus plant-based by 2025 to promote sustainable eating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lidl<\/a> \u2013<\/strong> aims to increase sales of its own brand meat free and milk alternative range by 400% by 2025. The initiative comes as Lidl identifies the need for food security with the increasing global population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unilever \u2013 <\/strong>committed to an annual $1 billion sales target from plant-based meat and dairy alternatives within five to seven years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NYC Hospitals \u2013 <\/strong>recently transitioned to serve plant-based food as the default option and patients can \u2018opt in\u2019 for meat and dairy. As a result, over half of patients chose fully plant-based meals when only 1% identified as vegan or vegetarian!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ikea<\/a> \u2013<\/strong> in a bid to become a \u2018climate positive business\u2019 by 2030, 50% of Ikea\u2019s main meals served in its restaurants will be plant-based by 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wagamama<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>became the UK’s first high street restaurant to offer an equal plant-based menu. The menu is now 50% plant-based as a part of the chain\u2019s pledge to combat climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

University of Stirling<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>the university became the first to ban animal products in campus outlets. after students voted in favor of serving only plant-based products by 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burger King UK<\/a> \u2013<\/strong> pledged to make 50% of its menu meat-free by 2030 to achieve their sustainability targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aveda<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>removed honey and beeswax from its products to become 100% vegan. The hair and beauty brand announced its vegan pledge during Veganuary 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\t
