In 2021, there were more than 825 new vegan products and menu options launched during the month around the globe.\u00a0<br><br>Now,\u00a0in\u00a0its\u00a0third year in the US, Veganuary is seeing an uptick in the number of businesses around the country getting involved.\u00a0This year, Veganuary participants can look forward to tons of great special offers and discounts from participating brands around the country and world.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This January,&nbsp;popular chains like&nbsp;<strong>Mellow Mushroom,&nbsp;Pokeworks,&nbsp;Just Salad,&nbsp;Blue Sushi Sake Grill,&nbsp;Fresh Brothers<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Veggie Grill,<\/strong>&nbsp;and more are&nbsp;launching new plant-based menu items for Veganuary 2022.&nbsp;With so many of us eating more at home,&nbsp;you&#8217;ll&nbsp;also see great Veganuary deals and bundles from services like&nbsp;<strong>Thrive Market, Purple Carrot,&nbsp;<\/strong>and more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mellow Mushroom is adding two new vegan pizza&nbsp;limited time offers to the menu this January to&nbsp;support Veganuary participants. Anne Mejia, VP of Brand Development at Mellow Mushroom, said&nbsp;\u201cMellow Mushroom has long embraced veganism and other dietary lifestyle choices and needs, including offering certified gluten-free pies.&nbsp;We\u2019re delighted to partner with Follow Your Heart and Spork Foods to create two new Vegan pies \u2013 the \u2018Miss Mushroom\u2019 and the \u2018Greek Goddess\u2019 &#8212; just in time for Veganuary.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Popular chain Just Salad is promoting their&nbsp;fan-favorite&nbsp;plant-based options all month long.&nbsp;Sandra Noonan, Chief Sustainability Officer at Just Salad, said,&nbsp;\u201cWe offer a variety of delicious vegan options that help our customers achieve their health goals while reducing the food system\u2019s environmental impact. This includes great plant-based alternatives like&nbsp;Violife&nbsp;creamy vegan feta and Daring plant-based chicken.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, brands around the country are&nbsp;supporting consumers in their plant-based journeys this month&nbsp;through special promotions and creative marketing campaigns, like the&nbsp;<strong>Sweet Earth Foods&nbsp;<\/strong>Veganuary Swaps campaign.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re excited to launch a series of Sweet Earth\u00ae Veganuary recipes this month, developed in collaboration with a celebrity chef and culinary creators,\u201d said Jennifer Barnes, vice president and general manager at Sweet Earth\u00ae Foods. &#8220;Our goal is to encourage more people to go meatless with super flavorful, culinary-forward Sweet Earth\u00ae Plant Based&nbsp;Chik\u2019n&nbsp;recipes for all occasions. Sweet Earth\u00ae will also be announcing special deals on the Veganuary website and surprise giveaways on Instagram on the @sweetearthfoods page.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plant-based consumers can also look forward to new vegan products coming onto the market in January, like the new vegan Mini\u2019s that<strong>&nbsp;Magnum<\/strong>&nbsp;launched&nbsp;for Veganuary.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJust in time for Veganuary,\u00a0Magnum ice cream U.S. is expanding our non-dairy offerings to include a new flavor,\u00a0Hazelnut Crunch\u00a0and highly anticipated\u00a0MINI Variety Pack,\u00a0featuring our Non-Dairy Classic and Non-Dairy Almond flavors in our signature MINI size, providing more options for fans to indulge in Magnum\u202fice cream,\u201d said Nicole Towner, Brand Manager, Magnum ice cream U.S. <br><br>\u201cMagnum ice cream is excited to join the Veganuary movement because we believe everyone should be free to indulge in the lifestyle they choose, and that of course includes treats from the chocolatiers of ice cream. We are continuously releasing new non-dairy offerings that allow everyone to experience the decadence of Magnum ice cream.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to new product and menu launches and clever marketing campaigns,&nbsp;over 75 businesses around the globe,&nbsp;like&nbsp;<strong>Aveda<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>The Mill<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>PLNT Burger,<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Papa John\u2019s,<\/strong>&nbsp;are electing to bring Veganuary into the office via the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/veganuary.com\/en-us\/get-involved\/workplace-challenge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Veganuary Workplace Challenge,<\/a>&nbsp;which encourages colleagues to take the 31-day vegan pledge as a team.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liz Williams, Papa John\u2019s UK managing director, speaking on behalf of\u00a0Papa John\u2019s International\u00a0which is encouraging staff in 45 countries to take part, says:\u00a0 \u201c2022 marks the first year of the Veganuary Workplace Challenge at Papa John\u2019s, and\u00a0another small step in our Plant Love mission.
