Every January, businesses around the world vie with one another to bring out more, bigger, and better vegan menus to capitalize on the huge popularity of Veganuary. This is the biggest Veganuary in New York City to date, with signage and specials supporting the movement throughout the streets, outside of bodegas, and in dozens of restaurants. In addition, Veganuary <a href=\"https:\/\/weareveganuary.sharepoint.com\/:f:\/s\/ShareExternally\/EtUlOyKMUspOvfPWsztl2tgBZQMkH9uu2oedF-2s1lnjiA?e=ECSCdv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ads are running in NYC subways<\/a> and the organization\u2019s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lnkbxkdDtBI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PSA<\/a> is on screens in restaurants and gyms throughout the city (via Atmosphere TV).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This January, Veganuary is getting an extra boost from the city\u2019s first ever <a href=\"https:\/\/vegansbaby.com\/vegan-dining-month\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vegan Dining Month<\/a>, which is being put on by Vegans, Baby to highlight the diverse vegan culinary scene in NYC. More than 20 vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants are participating for the entire month of January.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;The vegan dining scene in NYC is one of the most diverse and massive in the world and I wanted to celebrate that,\u201d<\/em> said Diana Edelman, CEO\/Founder of Vegans, Baby. <em>\u201cI created Vegan Dining Month to show people that vegan food and dining is approachable and accessible and in the six years since it launched in Las Vegas, thousands of diners have tried the food. Of course, having it coincide with Veganuary made so much sense &#8212; here&#8217;s an entire population of people who are giving vegan life a go. I wanted to make it even easier and show them they could go out to eat and be vegan and miss nothing by doing so.\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Millions have signed up to take the Veganuary pledge since the campaign\u2019s inception in 2014. The steadily increasing interest in vegan foods nationwide and regionally is being met with more options from restaurants with Veganuary\u2019s support. In fact, Techonomic\u2019s 2020 Generational Consumer Trend Report found that 41% of millennials said they enjoy trying new plant-based foods and beverages at restaurants.
