Vegan Dining Month, by Vegans, Baby<\/a>, and supported by Veganuary, originated during the month of January in Las Vegas but quickly expanded to Portland and made its NYC debut in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI created Vegan Dining Month to show people that vegan food and dining is approachable and accessible and in the six years since it launched in Las Vegas, thousands of diners have tried the food. ” says Diana Edelman, CEO\/Founder of Vegans, Baby. “Of course, having it coincide with Veganuary made so much sense — here’s an entire population of people who are giving vegan life a go. I wanted to make it even easier and show them they could go out to eat and be vegan and miss nothing by doing so.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s just a glimpse at some of the delicious specials that were served up in January around the country as part of Vegan Dining Month!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las Vegas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Las Vegas, Nevada, saw its sixth annual Vegan Dining Month this year, with nearly 30 vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants taking part. The list included Best Friend, NoMad Library and Restaurant, and Primrose, all part of Park MGM. Menus featured items like broccolini bruschetta, eggplant schnitzel, and avocado toast. The Bellagio also got involved, as Vegans, Baby has deemed it one of the most vegan-friendly hotels in the city! Both Harvest and Picasso are inside the Bellagio and offer separate vegan menus. A portion of all the proceeds for dishes sold in Las Vegas during Vegan Dining Month went to a local animal adoption organization called Animal Help Alliance! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Portland<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Portland, Oregon, saw its third annual Vegan Dining Month in 2023 with the help of Portland Vegans<\/a>. Ten restaurants got involved, and menus featured soulful items like pulled jack sandwiches with vegan mac and cheese, Nashville hot chick’n sandwiches, and even brownie sundaes. A portion of all proceeds benefited Life of Riley Dog Rescue, a local organization that helps at-risk dogs find their forever homes in the Pacific Northwest!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New York City<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For its first Vegan Dining Month, New York City saw the support of more than 20 vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants. Ayza featured a prix fixe menu for two which included smoked eggplant, asparagus ravioli, and dark chocolate fondue. Meanwhile, other restaurants like Marty’s V Burger kept it casual with a vegan crunch wrap. A portion of proceeds from dishes sold in NYC during Vegan Dining Month went to Support + Feed, which is an organization that works to combat food insecurity and the climate crisis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
