What is Veganuary?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Veganuary is a non-profit organization encouraging and supporting people worldwide to try vegan in January and throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year, we invite people to try a plant-based diet for 31 days without judgment and provide plenty of resources, tasty recipes<\/a>, and expert tips. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When did Veganuary start?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Veganuary was co-founded by Matthew Glover and Jane Land in 2013. The first Veganuary campaign took place in January 2014 when around 3,300 people took part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ve grown exponentially since then, and we recently celebrated our 10th birthday. Time flies when you’re changing the world! Millions of people all over the world have taken part in the last decade, and we\u2019re pretty proud of that.<\/p>\n\n\n

How many people do Veganuary?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since Veganuary launched in 2014, millions of people all over the world have taken part. We’ve had participants from nearly every country in the world except Vatican City and North Korea (where the internet is banned). How many people took part in Veganuary 2024?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Veganuary directly supported more than 1.8 million people worldwide to try vegan for a month in January 2024 with our free resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
