This year, Veganuary celebrated the kickoff of its January 2024 campaign in D.C. with <a href=\"https:\/\/veganuary.com\/press\/2024-us-washington-dc\/\">billboards at bike sharing<\/a> stations near Dupont Circle and George Washington University and broadcast ads in the DC DMA. The bright and thought-provoking ads encourage locals to try vegan for the benefit of health, animals, and the planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every January, businesses around the world are launching more, bigger, and better vegan menus to capitalize on the huge popularity of Veganuary. This year, the <a href=\"https:\/\/vsdc.org\/\">Veg Society of DC<\/a> and DC Vegan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meetup.com\/vegan-dc-md-va\/events\/297285907\/\">partnered<\/a> to celebrate the launch of Veganuary at the Botanical Bar on Jan. 6 with a special Veganuary mocktail, the Green Queen, and an exciting new vegan steak from Chunk Foods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe Veg Society of DC is thrilled to participate in the growing world-wide Veganuary movement which has inspired and supported millions of people to try vegan since 2014\u201d,<\/em> says Elissa Free, VP of Veg Society of DC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new study conducted by YouGov on behalf of Veganuary reported that 71%* of all US adults are hoping to eat more vegetables in 2024.
