Aqu\u00ed te contamos algunas razones para que consideres hacer un cambio definitivo y <a href=\"https:\/\/veganuary.com\/es\/inscribete\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">probar el veganismo por un mes junto a Veganuary.<\/a> &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El D\u00eda Mundial sin Carne se&nbsp;conmemora desde 1985, impulsado por el movimiento FARM (Farm Animal Reform Movement) con el objetivo de dar a conocer la alimentaci\u00f3n basada en plantas y as\u00ed promover opciones alimentarias que respeten a todos animales.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de ayudar a evitar la muerte de&nbsp;68 mil millones de animales terrestres que son asesinados cada a\u00f1o, como vacas, cerdos y pollos, sin considerar todos los animales del mar que tambi\u00e9n son capturados para transformarse en alimento para&nbsp;los seres humanos -seg\u00fan datos de la Organizaci\u00f3n de Naciones Unidas-, la alimentaci\u00f3n basada en plantas tiene otros beneficios para ti y para el planeta.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As\u00ed es, la industria c\u00e1rnica no es solo es perjudicial para los animales, sino que es la responsable tambi\u00e9n de grandes efectos nocivos para el medioambiente y tu salud. El sector ganadero, por ejemplo, \u201cgenera m\u00e1s gases de efecto invernadero -el 18%, medidos en su equivalente en di\u00f3xido de carbono (CO2)- que el sector del transporte\u201d, seg\u00fan datos de Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentaci\u00f3n y la Agricultura (FAO).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mientras que \u201cel 70 por ciento de toda la superficie agr\u00edcola del mundo se destina a comida para el ganado\u201d, seg\u00fan el informe \u201cLa larga sombra del ganado\u201d, tambi\u00e9n de la FAO.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y as\u00ed podemos sumar much\u00edsimos m\u00e1s datos duros sobre lo perjudicial que se torna la industria c\u00e1rnica para el planeta y los animales.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son los beneficios de dejar la carne y productos de origen animal?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/veganuary.com\/es\/cinco-razones-para-probar-veganismo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aqu\u00ed te mencionamos algunos<\/a>:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1.- Huella de carbono:<\/strong> La alimentaci\u00f3n basada en plantas permite una disminuci\u00f3n importante en la huella de carbono, porque durante todo el proceso productivo de carne y leche se generan el 22% de las emisiones mundiales de gases de efecto invernadero.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2.- Huella h\u00eddrica:<\/strong> As\u00ed tambi\u00e9n, dejar la carne y productos de origen animal ayudan a disminuir la huella h\u00eddrica, ya que en la industria c\u00e1rnica&nbsp;se utilizan m\u00e1s de 4.000 litros para producir 227 gr. de carne, cantidad que se utiliza para producir los granos y forraje para alimentar al ganado, adem\u00e1s de lo utilizado para beber y otros servicios como lavado.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En este contexto, la comida obtenida de animales, en efecto,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarin.com\/buena-vida\/vegetarianos-dieta-futuro_0_H1mMkGlhvQx.html#:~:text=La%20comida%20obtenida%20de%20animales,destinadas%20al%20alimento%20para%20ganado.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>consume entre cinco y diez veces m\u00e1s agua que la necesaria para una alimentaci\u00f3n vegana<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3.- Salud: <\/strong>El nutricionista&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/nutriveganojuan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Juan Fuentes<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;se\u00f1ala que&nbsp;<em>\u201cdiferentes estudios han mostrado que existen una relaci\u00f3n directa entre alimentaci\u00f3n vegana y un menor \u00edndice de masa corporal (IMC), menor peso corporal, menor circunferencia de cintura (asociado al riesgo cardiovascular), menores niveles de colesterol total, LDL y HDL, junto con menor riesgo de muerte por enfermedades cardiovasculares y menor incidencia de desarrollar cualquier tipo de c\u00e1ncer en un 15%\u201d.&nbsp;<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es muy importante destacar que todo lo se\u00f1alado anteriormente se logra solo cuando la alimentaci\u00f3n vegana es equilibrada y balanceada, ya que si llevamos estilos de vida no saludable tendremos exactamente los mismos problemas de salud que personas omn\u00edvoras.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"799\" src=\"https:\/\/veganuary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/cholesterol.jpg\" alt=\"Person holding red heart\" class=\"wp-image-122471\" srcset=\"https:\/\/veganuary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/cholesterol.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/veganuary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/cholesterol-400x266.jpg 400w, https:\/\/veganuary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/cholesterol-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/veganuary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/cholesterol-800x533.jpg 800w, https:\/\/veganuary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/cholesterol-150x100.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">La alimentaci\u00f3n basada en plantas entrega beneficios para la salud.
