Bosh! has become one of the must-have cookbooks amongst UK vegans and the duo’s Facebook posts have become hugely popular. Their website simply states “We’re here to help everyone eat more plants!” Who are we to argue with that?
Ian is a creative marketer who comes from a fashion background, Henry comes from the world of digital video. They combine their skills with a love of plant-based cooking and an engaging visual flair to bring veganism to the masses via their website https://www.bosh.tv/ and their Facebook page, which has well over a million and a half “likes”.
The two school friends became vegan within months of each other. Henry mocked Ian for turning vegan at first, but says:
Then I watched the film Cowspiracy about how much animal agriculture contributes to global warming and it was a turning point and I went vegan overnight.
The duo are among the new wave of vegan celebrities who have come to prominence on social media by making vegan dishes simple and unpretentious, showing that anybody really can make the transition to a plant-based diet.
Ian and Henry have recorded a number of videos for Veganuary. You can see their recipe videos by clicking here.
In 2019, the duo recorded a video for Veganuary’s vegan-pledge campaign entitled: “But some people say vegan food is boring”. Click play on the video below to watch.
