In 2014, Munter began driving a race car named after an orca whale at the Talladega Speedway with a “Blackfish” movie theme to raise awareness about the 2013 documentary criticizing Seaworld for placing orca whales in captivity.
Leilani has been a vegetarian for most of her life and became vegan in 2011. In an interview for Happy Cow she explained how having watched Earthlings and Forks Over Knives she realised she had to cut dairy out of her diet. Since going vegan she’s felt like she has more energy.
