Sara Pascoe is a multi-award-winning comedian, writer and actor.
Sara has starred on Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief (making it to the Final); adapted Pride and Prejudice for the Nottingham Playhouse/ York Theatre Royal; filmed a solo stand up special for TV: Sara Pascoe Live from the BBC; appeared as a weekly guest on Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, and filmed appearances on television shows ranging from Have I Got News For You to Travel Man and Live at the Apollo.
Sara has enjoyed multiple sell out live tours and brought her show, LadsLadsLads to the Wyndham’s Theatre in London’s West End, Jan 2018.
Following the enormous success of Sara’s debut book, Animal (Faber and Faber), she is presently writing the follow up, Sex Power Money – and a forthcoming solo BBC Radio 4 series, The Modern Monkey.
Having been vegetarian from the age of seven, Sara went vegan in 2012, and has said that being vegan is the thing she likes the most about herself. On turning vegan Sara felt lighter and happier that she was showing kindness to animals. She was perhaps most surprised by finding that going vegan led her to feel more compassionate in all areas of her life.
