Orange flavoured chocolate is always a sure favourite, but the perfect balance of tart cranberry and the tangy twist of mandarin makes this bar a winner. Like all Ombars this bar is sweetened with Coconut Sugar. Coconut sugar is made from the sap of coconut palm trees; extracted once the blossom is removed. This nectar is gently heated until it becomes a delicious, rich unrefined sugar. Coconut sugar is not a raw food.
Raw cacao is used not only because of its rich complex flavour, but also because it retains much more of its antioxidant properties which are lost during the roasting process.
