Oil Free Hummus

  • 250g cooked chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened soya milk
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 2 teaspoons tahini
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

All the taste, with none of the oil! Delicious oil free hummus.

Note: This recipe serves as a basic starting point for all oil free hummus creations, and can be added to to make any type of hummus, simply by adding more ingredients while blending. Also, if this consistency is too thick, just add more liquid!


  • Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth, taste for seasoning and adjust accordingly.
  • Garnish with smoked paprika, cumin seeds and coriander or parsley, and serve!
