Sweet Potato Slices

Treat your best self with these simply sumptuous Sweet Potato Slices from Applewood. Whether you’re making them as a snack, dinner or canapés at a fancy dinner party darling, they’ll go down a storm.

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 25-30 minutes


  • 3-4 sweet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp dried herbs
  • Vegan pesto
  • Applewood Vegan Block


  1. Wash and scrub sweet potatoes.
  2. Cut into thick slices.
  3. Score each piece of potato.
  4. Mix olive oil and herbs, and spread on each slice.
  5. Bake in a preheated 180°c oven for 20 mins.
  6. Add a dollop of vegan pesto and a generous helping of Applewood Vegan Grated to each.
  7. Pop back into the oven until bubbling and crisp on top.
