The Gentleman Baristas

The Gentlemen Baristas well mannered roastery and coffee house is launching a new vegan brunch menu in time for Veganuary, a campaign that challenges people to go vegan for the month of January and beyond.

Since launching their first coffee house in Southwark in 2014, the independent coffee houses (that hate to be called a chain), has ten sites across the capital including a flagship in Piccadilly and sites in Mayfair, Borough, London Bridge, Holborn, Vinegar Yard, Southwark, Hammersmith, East India and Covent Garden.

The NEW vegan menu will be served at The Gentlemen Baristas sites with kitchens until 3pm and includes a range of vegan croissants, toasties and sandwiches.

So what are the vegan options at The Gentleman Baristas?

Vegan Options

  • ALT Sandwich. Roasted aubergine, lettuce, tomato and mayo on sourdough.
  • Vegan Croissants. Range include ‘Nduja, garlic and basil sauce with rocket and Cumberland sausage and vegan sliced cheese and spinach. Both feature Symplicity Foods, meat alternatives, the brainchild of the capital’s top meat chef Neil Rankin. Designed as an alternative to heavily processed vegan foods, products are made from fermented vegetables and feature cheese alternatives and it’s imagined that even devoted meat and dairy eaters might be tempted.
  • Vegan Toasties. Range includes Beetroot hummus, kale and avocado with cherry tomato, candied beetroot and micro herbs on rye bread, and vegan cream cheese and smoked carrot ribbons with red onion, cucumber and dill on rye bread.

Information accurate as of 12/01/2022.
