Marchpane & Medlar

Marchpane & Medlar are purveyors of scrumptious vegan cakes and catering in Bristol and the South West. All our products are made using only plant-based ingredients and are entirely animal-free. Our concern for issues around food production extends to sustainable and fair practice. Therefore our key ingredients are always fairly traded and we use organic, seasonal and locally grown produce wherever possible.

We’re confirmed foodies, passionate about cooking and enjoying fantastic food and equally passionate about the way it’s produced. Quite simply, we LOVE vegan food and recognise its benefits for animals, the planet and our own wellbeing. We aim to be ambassadors for ethical and sustainable cuisine and believe one of the best ways to do this is to showcase striking, vibrant and stylish creations. Our mission is simple: banish the myth that vegan food is dull!

We have to admit to being sinfully sweet-toothed, and as such, our focus does tend to lean towards cake! We’ll let you into a little secret – going vegan doesn’t mean you can’t still treat yourself from time to time! We really hope you enjoy our recipes and wish you all the best on your vegan journey.

  • Gooey Pecan Pie

Traditional pecan pie recipes tend to rely on eggs to make the filling set.
