Vegan Outreach is a nonprofit organization working to expose and end cruelty to animals through the widespread distribution of our booklets promoting plant-based eating and compassion for animals.
We distribute our booklets primarily through our Adopt a College program, in which our outreach coordinators and volunteers hand our booklets to about 800-900K students at up to 1,000 schools every semester. We also distribute our booklets at concerts and festivals, and in veg-friendly restaurants and grocery stores, among other places.
While based in the United States, VO has an extensive presence in Australia and Canada, and also does outreach in Mexico on a regular basis.
Vegan Outreach also focuses on keeping people vegan through our Vegan Mentor Program and our Registered Dietitian who maintains VeganHealth.org and counsels people who have questions or issues.
Vegan Outreach has an extensive social media presence a weekly e-newsletter to keep our members informed and involved in our programs and news about vegan living.
