So this happened...I was told I had non-alcoholic fatty liver disease at the end of 2013, after popping to the doctors with pain I had been having for months.
I decided to go gluten-free and vegan (mostly raw vegan) to give my body the best chance of getting my liver and body healthy again.
After six months of being vegan, gluten-free, going to the gym Mon-Fri for two classes a day, I found my weight loss was still very slow and I still had constant daily pain, bloating and inflammation. Not wanting to have an operation, I was doing everything I could to change it.
I started taking some dried, powdered whole food, fruit, veg and berry capsules which were vegan and gluten-free. I managed to reduce the daily pain and bloating and I was able to find out which foods were causing the extra problems and stopped eating them.
I have managed to get out of my size 20 maternity clothes that I was still wearing to cover up and 9 months down the line I am now a size 14. I walk six miles a day and do T25 too. Looking forward to seeing what the next few weeks, months, years can do for me.
I love eating vegan (mostly raw) and gluten-free along with my fruit, veg & berry capsules. It works for me to regulate my body to get it to the best possible place it can be.
