I'm Sarah. I've been vegan for just over 2 years. Before that I was a pescetarian and then a full blown meat eater. I transitioned into being a vegan in a little over one week back in November 2012.
I’m a sufferer of the not so much fun skin condition called Eczema. I’m sure you’ve probably heard of it! I tried almost everything to get rid of it – apart from cutting out dairy. It wasn’t until a trip to the USA to see my fiance that I discovered almond milk! It was actually pretty delicious. Upon my return home I ditched the dairy and eventually became fully vegan. Guess what? My eczema and bi-weekly chronic headaches disappeared within the space of weeks. I was no longer feeling bloated or lethargic after eating.
I consider myself to have a very strong affinity for animals and I try to be an ethical vegan in all aspects of my life. Veganism has enriched my life so much. I now run a food blog to help spread the message that vegan food is and can be EXTREMELY delicious! It’s a diet of compassion not a diet of denial.
