Just like its cousin tempeh, tofu makes a great sandwich filling!
- Slice the tofu into 4 pieces.
- Heat a heavy based pan and warm the oil.
- Fry the tofu steaks for 2-3 minutes.
- Turn over add a splash of shoyu (natural soy sauce) and fry for a few more minutes.
- Spread some vegan mayonnaise on a toasted seeded bap, dress with some lettuce leaves and shredded carrot.
- Place two of the tofu steaks on top and add some roasted onion and pepper relish.
