Popular cereal brand Kellogg’s have unveiled their new vegan cereal brand W.K. Kellogg and its TV ad campaign starring three plant-powered stars, with the tagline – Be A #ForceOfNature.
One of these inspiring people is Edric Kennedy-Macfoy – A passionate vegan, fitness coach and firefighter from Harrow who has been working with the London Fire Brigade for almost 13 years and who served at the tragic Grenfell fire disaster in June 2017.
Edric was chosen from hundreds of applicants to star in the new W.K. Kellogg’s advert which went live recently and you can watch below.
Edric has been vegan since late 2016 after being moved by the powerful documentary, Earthlings, but also felt encouraged to live a healthier life after the tragic passing of his mother and best friend whom he lost to cancer whilst he was in his early twenties.
He now has his own blog and has written a book titled ‘How To Become A Vegan,’ which is currently due for release in March 2019 via Hay House UK and available for pre-order now.
The book’s blurb on Amazon reads:
“This is a guide for all fitness enthusiasts wanting to make the switch to a vegan diet without compromising on muscle gains or performance – and for all vegans who want to improve their fitness.”
So far W.K. Kellogg have released several in their plant-based range including two super grains granolas, two organic wholegrain wheat cereals and two no added sugar granolas.
It’s a hugely positive move from the brand with their website and campaign championing the “power of plants.”
A quote from Will Keith Kellogg himself on the website reads:
Let’s come together for food to champion healthy lifestyles through nutritious uplifting plant-based foods.
