FAQ’s

Is there really zero cost to participate in Veganuary? 

Yes! We started Veganuary as a way to amplify the visibility of plant-based options for an entire month each year and make it easier for people to try eating plant-based. The more companies that participate, the more people will be inspired to try eating plant-based and support the shift toward more just and sustainable food system. Therefore, there is no charge to participate. 

Veganuary also offers a limited number of Corporate Sponsorship packages to a select group of dedicated brands. If you are interested in learning more about these opportunities please reach out to [email protected]

Does my company need to be 100% plant-based to participate? 

Any business that wants to promote plant-based products or menu items can participate in Veganuary! Some of our biggest past supporters have been major national and global companies with a range of vegan and non-vegan options, including Hellmann’s, Hard Rock Cafe, Burger King UK, and Domino’s UK. Most Veganuary participants are not vegetarian or vegan but are looking for more nutritious/sustainable options from familiar brands they trust. 

How can my company be featured in Veganuary’s campaign materials? 

Veganuary cultivates a strong presence in local, national, and international media. Throughout the campaign, we prepare press and media materials highlighting major participating businesses. We also feature any widely available special offers, new menu items, and new products available during January on our website. 

Because hundreds of businesses participate in Veganuary every year, we aren’t able to directly promote every brand that takes part in the campaign. We offer free Business Planning Guides and other free resources to make it easy for any brand to be a part of the global Veganuary moment. 

Do I have to use Veganuary’s branding to take part? 

While businesses are welcome to any of our free resources to promote their participation in the campaign, we understand some businesses prefer to create materials that reflect their own branding and communication styles. Even if you don’t use the Veganuary branding, we encourage businesses to promote their plant-based products and menu items during January. You can also use our campaign hashtag (#Veganuary2026) and tag us (@WeAreVeganuary) on any relevant social media posts promoting your products or services. And if you have plant-based launches or news you’d like to promote, at any time during the year, you can email us to consider for editorial-style content.  

How do I confirm my business’s participation? 

You do not need to confirm your participation in the campaign. However, we encourage businesses to register their participation (please email [email protected] to receive the participation form). By confirming your participation, we will send you additional information to support your plans and ensure that your participation is considered for any relevant content we might be preparing (e.g., region-specific restaurant participation, new product launches, etc.). 

Are there any important deadlines for participation? 

Deadlines for certain content (like special offers to be added to the Veganuary website, or new product launch details) will be sent out in early fall. Because Veganuary 2026 will be officially announced in early December, and given the holidays in December, we aim to have all information in-hand by December. Materials submitted to the Veganuary team earlier have the best chance of being considered for any relevant Veganuary communications and content. 

We are interested in collaborating with Veganuary on social media content. What do we need to do? 

Veganuary does a limited number of direct social media collaborations with businesses. Any collabs must adhere to strict guidelines that meet Veganuary’s content and brand standards. To be considered for a potential collab, you can email [email protected] for additional information. 

I’m hosting an event and am interested in having a Veganuary representative attend or speak. Who should I contact? 

At this time Veganuary is unable to participate in any in-person events. If you are looking for speakers for a virtual event, or would like to use any of Veganuary’s digital resources (including logos and print-ready designs), please email [email protected]
