We are looking for a number of brilliant people to serve as Trustees, joining our international team to be a pillars of support in our mission to create a better world for humans and animals alike.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
This is a very exciting time to join our organisation and help shape the path forward as we continue to grow and expand the vegan message globally. We are currently recruiting for more than one vacancy and are looking for the following skills or attributes in particular:
- A trustee with fundraising expertise or connections with potential funders
- A trustee with risk management expertise
- A trustee located in Germany, with knowledge of German charitable governance
ABOUT VEGANUARY:
Veganuary is a global non-profit organisation, and while our name may suggest a focus on January, our work extends throughout the entire year. We are committed to inspiring and supporting individuals and businesses to transition towards a plant-based lifestyle; not just for a month, but as a long-term, sustainable change. Everything we achieve is driven by our small but dedicated team of around 40 passionate individuals, working collaboratively across seven countries. Despite our size, our impact is significant, thanks to the commitment, creativity, and purpose that define our organisation.
Our vision is simple; we want a vegan world.
A world without animal farms and slaughterhouses. A world where food production does not decimate forests, pollute rivers and oceans, exacerbate climate change, and drive wild animal populations to extinction. Our popular culture appeal, along with our positive and non-judgemental approach to veganism, is making a measurable difference for animals and the planet.
We’re so proud of what we’ve achieved in the 10 years since Veganuary first began. Millions of people – from nearly every country in the world – have taken part in Veganuary since our launch in 2014, and thousands of new vegan products and dishes have been added to shop shelves and restaurant menus worldwide. How amazing is that?! And there is so much more to do so this is a very exciting time to join our team.
