Sweet and Sour Slaw:

  • 2 cups Asian Slaw mix
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup Sweet and Sour Sauce
  • 1 ½ tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Lime Mayo:

  • ½ cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Crab Cakes:

  • 4 Hungry Planet Crab™️ Crab Cakes
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 vegan burger buns

A quick and delish Sweet and Sour Crab Cake Sandwich recipe, made with plant-based Hungry Planet Crab™️ Crab Cakes. Ready in less than 20 minutes, a sweet and sour slaw atop a tasty crab cake – perfect for lunch or dinner.


  1. Mix all sweet and sour slaw ingredients together in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Mix lime mayo ingredients together in a large bowl until smooth. Set aside until ready to use.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add Hungry Planet Crab Cakes™. Cook until heated through (165℉) and golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
  4. To serve, spread equal amounts of lime mayo on each bun, then add your finished crab cakes, top with slaw, and enjoy.
