Ingredients

  1. • 1 onion
  2. • 1 green pepper
  3. • 1 cloves of garlic
  4. • 1 chili pepper
  5. • 750 ml (canned) sieved tomatoes
  6. • 2 cans of kidney beans (400 g)
  7. • 1 can of borlotti beans (400 g)
  8. • 1 tbsp of tomato puree
  9. • 1 tl smoked paprika powder (spicy)
  10. • 2 tbsp of oregano
  11. • pepper and salt
  12. • olive oil
  13. • 1 cube of vegan chocolate
  14. • 200 ml Provamel Soya Alternative to Cream
  15. • Finely chopped red onion
  16. • Fresh coriander
  17. • Mexican tortillas

Preparation

Serves 4. Provamel Soy Alternative Cream helps to make this Vegan Chili Sin Carne.

Method

  • Heat a tbsp of olive oil in a thick bottom cooking pot.
  • Finely chop the onion, garlic, chili and pepper and bake in the olive oil.
  • Add the sieved tomatoes and tomato puree after 5 mins.
  • Season with oregano, paprika powder, pepper and salt.
  • Let it simmer for 20 mins. over a low heat.
  • Garnish with the soya cream, chopped red onion, coriander and serve with the tortillas.
