KOSAMBARI (MOONG DAL SALAD)

Ingredients

1 cup moong dal, soaked for
12 hours as this is a raw salad
1 cup green raw mango, finely chopped
½ cup fresh coconut, grated
3 tsp fresh coriander leaves
1-2 green chilies, finely chopped
Himalayan salt
1 tsp dried neem
flour (optional)

This simple and refreshing salad has been on family menus for ages. Include it with your lunch as a tasty side dish or snack on it any time of the day.

Method

  • Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl and serve immediately.
  • Avoid adding salt if you are packing to consume later and add it just before eating.
