Ingredients

1 cup foxtail millet/little millet vermicelli
2 cups nut milk (soya milk has thick consistency, ideal for kheer)
¾ cup jaggery powder
Pinch of cardamom, powdered
Pinch of saffron

Method

  • Bring the milk to a boil and add the millet vermicelli. Cook for eight minutes on medium heat.
  • Once vermicelli is cooked add the jaggery powder, cardamom and saffron. Simmer for two minutes.
  • Mix well and serve
