Ingredients

2 cups green moong dal
¼ cup rice
4-5 green chilies
1 inch ginger
Himalayan salt

Age old Andhra recipe. Naturally vegan, protein rich and gluten free. Dosa’s cooler cousin.

Preparation

Soak the green moong dal and rice for three hours.
Grind the soaked ingredients, spices and salt to fine paste.
The consistency should be of dosa batter.

Method

  • Heat a tawa and spread the dough exactly like making a dosa or a crepe.
  • Cook on both sides for two minutes on medium heat.
  • Serve with tomato chutney and ginger pickle.
