4 tbsp ragi flour (sprouted ragi flour is better)
¼ tsp cardamom powder, for flavour
2 tbsp jaggery powder
2 tbsp date paste/syrup
Nuts and seeds of choice, for garnish
1 piece fruit of your choice, cut into pieces
2 cups water
1 cup nut milk (optional)


1. Add the ragi flour to a saucepan on medium heat.
2. Add one cup of water and mix without forming lumps.
3. Add another cup of water and cook for four to five minutes.
4. Keep mixing and add more water if necessary to keep it a soupy consistency. Cook for two more minutes.
5. Lastly, add jaggery powder and mix well. Switch off the heat and add date paste.
6. Pour in a bowl and garnish with nuts, seeds and fruit.
