Ingredients

1 Medium Sized Sweet Potato

2 Slightly Over-Ripe Bananas

3 Cups Non-Dairy Milk

3 Tablespoons Chia Seeds

This smoothie is chock-full of dietary fibers, minerals, vitamins and anti-oxidants which make it an ideal complete breakfast or a quick ‘n nourishing evening snack. It’s rich buttery and flavorful.

Method

1. Pressure cook the sweet potato for up to three whistles. Cool and peel. Alternatively you can steam it until tender.

2. Blend the cooked sweet potato, bananas and non-dairy milk until thick and creamy.

3. Stir in the chia seeds.

4. Refrigerate for at least 20-30 minutes before serving.
