Ingredients

  • 100 gm murmure or puffed rice
  • 200 gm powdered jaggery
  • ¼ cup peanuts
  • 2 tsp roasted and crushed fennel seeds
  • 2 tsp crushed ginger
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 cup water

Make this tasty and light snack for when the sweet cravings hit!

Method

  • Heat the oil in a flat pan
  • Add puffed rice and stir on low heat until crispy
  • Heat another pan with water and jaggery. Keep stirring and let the jaggery melt to form a sticky syrup
  • Add in the fennel seeds and peanuts and mix well, turn off the heat
  • Now add in the puffed rice and quickly stir the mixture well
  • Grease your hands and take a small portion of the mixture to gently roll into small laddoos. Do it quickly as the mixture hardens fast
  • Store away from moisture and enjoy!
