(Washington, D.C. – January 8, 2024) – Restaurants throughout Washington, D.C. are offering promotions and plant-based specials all month long to celebrate Veganuary 2024, the global campaign that encourages people to try vegan in January and beyond. This year, Veganuary celebrated the kickoff of its January 2024 campaign in D.C. with billboards at bike sharing stations near Dupont Circle and George Washington University and broadcast ads in the DC DMA. This year, the Veg Society of DC and DC Vegan partnered to celebrate the launch of Veganuary at the Botanical Bar on Jan. 6 with a special Veganuary mocktail, the Green Queen, and an exciting new vegan steak from Chunk Foods.
