ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Dear Candidate,
On behalf of Veganuary’s Board of Trustees, I am delighted to introduce you to Veganuary’s work and thank you for your interest in applying to be a trustee at the charity.
Originating in England, Veganuary is an international organisation that is changing the way we eat by driving a global shift towards plant-based food. Through the Veganuary campaign, we encourage millions of people to eat vegan in January (and beyond) and work with thousands of businesses around the world to increase their vegan options to capitalise on this audience. This in turn inspires many more people to try the vegan options that are more easily available. Our huge media presence and strong social media following further increase the visibility of veganism and the growing plant-based food revolution.
This is a very exciting time to join our organisation and help shape the path forward as we continue to grow and expand the vegan message globally.
We are recruiting a new Trustee to join a supportive and professional Board. We are keen to hear from candidates with significant fundraising experience at Executive or Director of Fundraising Level to advise us on fundraising, help us develop our fundraising strategy and actively fundraise on behalf of Veganuary.
We ask that trustees have an understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship (though training will be provided) and have an understanding of the work of Veganuary. Although we are a UK registered charity, we are currently also active in many countries around the world, and we would love to recruit Trustees from the UK, Germany or the US to join our Board and work with our amazing team.
We look forward to hearing from you about the difference you can make to help us achieve a vegan world.
In kindness,
Jane Land
