Wagamama has always been pretty good for vegans but in the past you had to know what to ask for. Now, they have created their first vegetarian and vegan menu. And. It. Is. Amazing.
The dumplings (yasai gyoza) remain a firm favourite, but you can also kick off your meal with salted edamame, garlicky wok-fried tenderstem broccoli and bok choy, a fresh raw salad with pickled mooli and a soy dressing and NEW for summer 2018 - mixed mushroom panko aubergine hirata steamed buns. For the main event, the vegatsu is a seitan sensation! This is wagamama's new vegan katsu curry with seitan coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs covered in an aromatic curry sauce with sticky white rice and side salad. Even the vegan beers and wines are labelled, making Wagamama a fantastic – and fantastically-easy – place to eat.
- Mixed Mushrooms + Panko Aubergine Hirata Steamed Buns
Two small, fluffy Asian buns served with panko aubergine, mixed mushrooms and coriander.

- Wok Fried Greens
Tenderstem broccoli and bok choi, stir-fried in a garlic and soy sauce.
- Yasai Steamed Gyoza
Five tasty steamed yasai dumplings, served grilled and with a dipping sauce.
- Raw Salad
Mixed leaves, edamame beans, baby plum tomatoes, seaweed and pickled mooli, carrot, red onion and topped with fried shallots. The Wagamama house dressing has been replaced with a soy dressing to make this dish suitable for a vegan diet.
- Kare Buroso
Shichimi coated silken tofu and grilled mixed mushrooms on a bed of udon noodles in a curried vegetable broth. Finished with pea shoots, carrot, chilli and coriander.
- Tofu Harusame Glass Noodle Salad
Glass noodles mixed with tofu, kale, edamame, adzuki beans, mangetout, blackened carrots and pea shoots. Topped with fresh mint, crispy fried shallots and dressed with a spicy vinegar.

- Yasai Itame
Rice noodles in a spicy green coconut and lemongrass soup with tofu and vegetables. Topped with stir-fried beansprouts, red and spring onions, bok choi, peppers, mushrooms and chillies. Garnished with coriander and lime.
- Yasai Katsu Curry
Sweet potato, aubergine and butternut squash coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs, covered in an aromatic curry sauce. Served with sticky white rice and side salad.
- Yasai Pad Thai
Rice noodles in an amai sauce with tofu, beansprouts, leeks, chilli and red and spring onions. Garnished with fried shallots, peanuts, mint, coriander and fresh lime.
- Yasai Yaki Soba
Udon or rice noodles with mushrooms, peppers, beansprouts, white and spring onions. Garnished with fried shallots, pickled ginger and sesame seeds.
- Yasai Samla Curry
A fragrant, spicy lemongrass and coconut curry with tofu, peppers, shiitake mushrooms and baby plum tomatoes. Served with white rice and garnished with spring onions, chilli and coriander.
