When we think of “sushi”, plant-based eating doesn’t necessarily spring to mind straight away – so its a delight that YO! Sushi have so many vegan options available. Even better, YO! Sushi have a special offer running to coincide with Veganuary 2019:
Think sushi is just raw fish? Think again. At YO! Sushi, our new menu has something for everyone. If you have a 2019 New Year’s resolution, Make it or Break it at YO! with 40 dishes available for only £3 this January, including 16 which are vegetarian or vegan. To celebrate Veganuary – a month of meat and dairy-free eating – YO! has extended its plant-based menu and launched new vegan dishes. A third of our menu is now vegetarian or vegan! This is great news for vegan eaters and those wanting to discover how tasty it is to go vegan!
- Inari Nigiri
Sweet parcels of soft bean curd filled with sticky rice.
- Kaiso Nigiri
Marinated seaweed with su-miso sauce, wrapped in nori.
Pods sprinkled with salt flakes and spring onion. Suck out the beans straight from the pod!
- Kaiso Seaweed
Marinated mixed seaweed, edamame and carrot in a su-miso dressing.
- Harusame Aubergine
Fried slices of aubergine in a garlic & ginger sesame soy dressing.
- Cucumber Maki
Crunchy cucumber and toasted sesame seed nori roll.
- Vegetable Chahan
Crunchy fresh vegetables, edamame and rice stir fried with shichimi chilli powder and sesame oil.
- Vegetable Tempura
Assorted vegetables and nori in a crispy tempura batter with a sesame vinegar sauce.

Yakisoba noodles in a tangy sauce served with crunchy, fresh vegetables.

Request the vegetarian items be made vegan as some contain egg, and they may also use mayo on their gloves to stop the rice from sticking. You will NOT be able to take nigiri and maki straight off the belt.
