I am a personal trainer based in North London, Founder of the Strong Girl Takeover movement and Co-Founder of the UK’s top calisthenics team Barsparta. Nearly 3 years ago now I went from eating everything (I’m from Hong Kong and have consumed many magical and mysterious meals), to no animal products overnight. I did it initially for my own self-discipline, to see if I could do it for a month.
After that month I felt so much better! Energy levels were up, skin cleared and slight fat reduction, so I decided to carry on another month, and that turned into a year… and another… and now we’re here and I’m the strongest I’ve ever been!
I believe that you can be strong, fit, healthy and achieve any physical feat on a plant-based diet, you just have to make sure you enough of the right things! For example, I was scouted from thousands of applicants from the UK to take part alongside 21 fittest men and women in the UK for BBC 2’s Special Forces: Ultimate Hell Week, broadcasting from Sunday 29th January to Sunday 5th March 2017.
