I became vegan for the second time last year (first time being back in the 90s when choices were extremely limited and being vegetarian was far 'easier' than being vegan).
If you enjoy cooking being vegan is very simple. I love cooking and baking but I became frustrated with the limited amount of vegan products available to buy locally so I set up my own company in December 2014: Nic’s Vegan Kitchen. We do vegan Home Baking, Hand made Chocolates, Cup Cakes, Cakes, Eggless Vegan Quiches, Pies, Pizzas – we have a veritable cornucopia of vegan delights available. We love coming up with new flavours and recipes and I’m always thrilled when non vegans try and love our products.
We get great reactions at our local food market. I’m determined to show that vegan food isn’t boring. It’s not all lettuce and lentils, but is exciting and vibrant and best of all cruelty free!
