Vegan bulhao pato mushrooms

This lovely fresh Portuguese recipe makes the perfect lunch, snack or dinner party starter.


  1. 1 cup of olive oil
  2. 8 shopped garlic gloves
  3. 250 g of sliced mushrooms of your preference
  4. 1/2 cup of white wine
  5. 1 red chilli
  6. 1 bunch of coriander
  7. 1 tea spoon of salt
  8. 1 lemon


Makes 6 portions

Put all the ingredients (except the lemon) in a pan following the order above. Cover it and cook it at medium temperature for about 10-15 minutes.

Squeeze the lemon onto the mushrooms and serve them as a starter with some bread slices.
