  1. 1 sheet of puff pastry
  2. 200 ml of coconut milk
  3. ½ cup of soya cream
  4. ½ cup of soya milk
  5. ½ tsp of vanilla essence
  6. 1 tsp of cinnamon
  7. 30g of cornflour
  8. 100g of sugar
  9. 1 small skin of lemon
  10. 1 pinch of salt

  • Turn on the oven at 250º C.
  • In a pan, add the dry ingredients (except the salt) and the soya cream and mix well everything. Add the other liquid ingredients and mix again.
  • Heat at a medium temperature until it boils and gets thick. Do not forget to always stir it when cooking. Add the salt, mix it and put aside.
  • Cut the pastry into little rolls. Fold each of them and press into the walls of the small moulds. It must be as thin as you can, but without making holes on it.
  • Fill half of the moulds with the cream, lay them on a baking tray and oven bake for about 20 minutes or until the cream is dark.
  • Serve the “pastéis de nata” warm with a little cinnamon on the top.
