Sainsbury’s Vegan Christmas Options 2025: A Complete Guide

The ultimate guide to Sainsbury’s vegan Christmas range

Feeling stressed about what you’re going to eat over the holiday season? Worry not! Have yourself a very vegan Christmas thanks to the festive offering at Sainsbury’s.

From appetisers to meat-free roasts, you’ll find everything you need for a jolly plant-based Christmas. With the return of some popular favourites and some new flavourful additions for 2025, there’s something to suit everyone in this range.

Without further ado, here are this year’s festive finds at Sainsbury’s.

Mains

The main event might pose the biggest challenge for vegan Christmas dining. At Sainsbury’s you can find turkey-free roasts and a mushroom wellington to bring the holiday cheer.

Slice up these centrepieces and serve alongside all the classic trimmings like veggies, gravy, roast potatoes and parsnips.

Taste the Difference No Turkey Stuffed Crown (£7)

For some, Christmas dinner without turkey is nothing short of a crime. However, this No Turkey Stuffed Crown means you can enjoy your favourite dish without the cruelty.

Made with pea protein, this vegan roast turkey alternative has a sage and onion stuffing centre and is topped with a vegan bacon lattice.

Available in store and on food to order from 3rd December

Taste the Difference Maple Chilli Butternut Squash Galette (£7)

Those who enjoy seasonal flavours will appreciate this Butternut Squash Galette, a new addition to the Sainsbury’s vegan range for 2025.

Filled with maple and chilli-glazed butternut squash and coconut-based cream and complete with flaky puff pastry, it’s nothing short of heavenly (and we think guests will agree).

Taste the Difference Leek & Walnut Tarts (£6)

The Leek & Walnut Tarts are also new additions for 2025, and make serving up an elegant main feel effortless. Each shortcrust pastry case holds a creamy leek and potato filling made with coconut-based cheddar-style cheese, topped with a walnut and chive crumble that adds crunch and a hint of freshness.

Taste the Difference Mushroom Wellington (£8.50)

This wellington puts mushrooms front and centre, which is exactly where they belong. Portobello and chestnut mushrooms are sautéed with pearl onions to create a rich, earthy filling that’s encased in golden puff pastry.

If you’re anything like us and think the pastry is the best part, you’ll love the hand-crafted pastry holly leaves, which add a nice festive finish.
