Hummus with Sesame Flour

Sukrin Sesame Flour is fantastic in houmous. Sukrin Sesame flour has all the flavour of tahini,with less than half the fat, with only 20g fat per 100g compared to tahini with 54g per 100g. In this great houmous recipe, we haven’t added too much oil, just enough to make it delicious!


  1. 1 can chickpeas, drained
  2. 30g Sukrin Sesame Flour
  3. Juice of 1/2 lemon
  4. 1 tblsp water
  5. 2 tblsp extra virgin olive oil
  6. 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  7. 1 clove garlic, crushed
  8. Sea salt to taste


Serves 4


  • Simply place everything in a small food blender, or crush everything up in a large pestle and mortar to keep it really chunky.
  • Add more or less of any of the flavourings to your taste.
