Find out how to make your own squeaky bean chilli “chicken” melts with this easy to follow and delicious recipe!

150g your favourite plant-based cheese, grated
1 small bunch spring onions, chopped
1tsp hot smoked paprika
1 pack Squeaky Bean Ready to Eat Hot & Spicy Chicken Style Pieces
2-4 slices sourdough bread
Hot sauce (as much as you can handle!)


  1. Mix your grated cheese with a handful of the sliced spring onions and smoked paprika.
  2. Place your slices of bread onto a baking tray and under a hot grill for a 1-2 mins until very lightly toasted.
  3. Add the first layer of cheese mixture and place back under the grill until starting to melt but not browned.
  4. Place the Squeaky Bean Ready to Eat Hot & Spicy Chicken Style Pieces onto the toast slices and cover with another handful of grated cheese mixture.
  5. Grill until bubbly and crisp at the edges.
  6. Serve with another scatter of spring onions and a large drizzle of hot sauce!
