Woody Harrelson, Bethany Antonia, Nicola Roberts join celebrity foodies supporting Veganuary 2025 

Chefs Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Ainsley Harriott, Kwoklyn Wan share exclusive tips for Veganuary swaps

11th December 2024: Veganuary – the global campaign to try vegan for January and beyond – is attracting support from more celebrity foodies than ever before.

Hollywood star Woody Harrelson and his wife Laura have donated their favourite plant-based recipe – Creamy Potato Leek Soup – to Veganuary’s 2025 Celebrity eCookbook which participants receive for free when they register on Veganuary’s website. Bethany Antonia, star of House of the Dragon, has donated her recipe for Sa-Ti-Deh Jamaican Black Bean & Jackfruit Stew; Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts has donated her plant-based Pomodoro Tagliolini with Burratta; Victoria Ekanoye, star of Coronation Street and Death in Paradise, has donated her take on Green Thai Curry and chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall has donated Caponata with Chickpeas and Apricots from his latest cookbook.

More support for those trying plant-based this January is offered by some of Britain’s top chefs and social media influencers.

TV chefs Ainsley Harriott and Kwoklyn Wan; Michelin-starred chef Alexis Gauthier; cookbook author and social media sensation Giuseppe Federici; and Great British Bake Off’s first vegan contestant and cookbook author Freya Cox have all shared exclusive tips for vegan swaps to help turn any recipe into a plant-based masterpiece.

Veganuary is also delighted to announce Giuseppe Federici as a 2025 campaign Ambassador. His viral cooking videos, often with his Italian Nonna, have introduced a huge new audience to plant-based meals. Commenting on his new role with the charity, he says:
