Billie Eilish and Woody Harrelson have teamed up to create a powerful video, addressing the urgency of climate change.
The video, titled “Our House is on Fire”, was shared on Billie Eilish’s YouTube channel and currently has 5 million views. “Our Earth is warming up and our oceans are rising… extreme weather is wrecking millions of lives”, says the vegan popstar.
The pair urge viewers to do what they can to help save the planet, by cutting out meat and dairy from their diets as well as reducing their use of plastic.
Woody Harrelson – a longtime vegan advocate – calls for people to ‘take back power’ by voting for politicians and legislation favouring aggressive climate policies. “History shows us that when enough people rise up and demand change, those in power have no choice but to act.”
Almost 1,000,000 species are becoming extinct because of mankind’s actions, and time to save the planet is running out. “After all,” Harrelson says, “it’s the only home we will ever have.”
