Smashing Plates

Smashing Plates is on-the-go-Greek like you’ve never eaten before. Sure, we’re nodding to our heritage with gyros and pitta, but everything’s made with the best ingredients and a super fresh take. We source and cook everything ourselves, the way we like it, in our own kitchens. And if Neo – our founder – doesn’t love it, it doesn’t go on the menu. Simple as that. Guess that’s why it all tastes so incredible.

So what are the vegan options at Smashing plates?

Veganuary 2022 Special Menu

Crispy Mushrooms Pitta. Crispy panko coated mushrooms marinated in Greek herbs, garlic and olive oil. Served inside our Greek homemade pitta with salad, oregano fries and our special Rubies in the Rubble banana sauce.

Scheezy Bites. Crispy panko coated bites of Scheeze served with our Smashing sauce.

Kataifi ‘kata-IE-fie’. Greek dessert made of kataifi pastry, dough nests filled with nuts and aromatic spices and then drizzled with sweet syrup.

Baklava. The ultimate crunchy Greek treat consisting of shiny layers of filo pastry with chopped nuts in between, finished with a sweet syrup.

Vegan menu

Gyros

  • Choose from a pitta wrap, skepasti (toasted double pitta) or salad tray.
  • Add your sauce. Either smashing sauce (sweet vegan mayo) or smoked aubergine.
  • Add your gyros. Choose from either roasted mushrooms or seitan.

Souvlaki

  • Choose from a pitta wrap or salad tray.
  • Add your sauce. Either smashing sauce (sweet vegan mayo) or smoked aubergine.
